The superior performance of the ISC comes from a constant flow of high-pressure fuel, injected with precise timing for optimum burn efficiency. Regardless of engine speed, the pressure inside the High Pressure Common Rail fuel system does not fluctuate. An increased number of injection events per cycle results in an ISC that runs both stronger and more efficiently than ever before.

- Crankcase Ventilation System – coalescing filter only needs replacement every 3rd to 4th oil change.
- Low Maintenance – Long oil change intervals maintained. Cummins Particulate Filter will go 200,000-400,000 miles (320,000-640,000 km) in a typical duty cycle for most vehicles before it needs cleaning.
- Heavy-Duty Features – Replaceable wet liners, roller followers, by-pass oil filtration, targeted piston cooling, robust valve train and more.
